On a recent holiday to Cyprus we did our normal thing and looked around for cookery books, most of them seemed to be printed and produced in Greece. However we did manage to find this book that was written in Cyprus and is Cypriot in its contents. The author was on the island during the late 1980s when her husband was serving with the British forces.
Being a keen cook and food writer she has researched and produced a very informative book, there are lots of anecdotes scattered amongst the receipes and we can thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who has visited Cyprus and enjoyed their cuisine. Also, to the many of you who have yet to visit this enchanted Mediterranean isle. Just send for this book and bring the "Taste of Cyprus" into your home.
