Regional cuisine is influenced by what is grown and produced locally, in the South West of Britain there is a very long coast line, so lots of sea food. Both arable and livestock farming so meat and cereals are plentiful. Hence things like clotted cream,.fish smokers and other specialist food producers have developed.
